Job summary

Sandstone Care in Boulder, CO is hiring a Prep Cook / Delivery Driver to support our food service program across residential and outpatient locations. You will help prepare meals, ensure food safety, and transport freshly prepared meals to multiple sites while maintaining quality and temperature control.

The role requires reliability, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. A HS diploma or GED is preferred, with culinary training a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; culinary training or certification is a plus.
• Experience: 1-2 years in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations; healthcare setting preferred.
• Certifications & Skills: Valid driver’s license with clean MVR; knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen equipment operation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation & cooking to menu plans while following safety standards.
• Meal transportation & delivery to Sandstone Care locations with temperature control.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organize supplies, and assist with inventory.
• Document meal counts, inventory logs, vehicle mileage, and compliance records.
