Job summary

Eurest is hiring a full-time Prep Cook at 750 Park Street, Des Moines, IA 50392 to prepare food and serve customers in line with federal, state and local standards.

The role requires catering experience and supports a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Online applications are accepted only. This position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities within a national foodservice leader.

Qualifications

• Catering experience required.
• Full-time availability with a consistent schedule.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced foodservice environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste log sheets.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy. Follows HACCP guidelines.
• Takes orders from customer and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
