Job summary

Eurest is hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position at 930 West Wells Fargo Trail, West Des Moines, IA 50266. Schedule is full-time, 5:00 am - 2:30 pm. Experience is required. Pay range is $19.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour. Online applications accepted only.

Prepares food in accordance with applicable standards and regulations to ensure quality service at all times. Associates are expected to adhere to safety and HACCP guidelines and to maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Tastes all prepared food items.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
