Job summary

Eurest is hiring a Senior Cook for a full-time role at 800 S Jordan Creek Parkway, West Des Moines, IA 50266. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm. A lead cook with experience is preferred. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $19.00 per hour and online applications are accepted.

The position includes benefits and an internal referral bonus; duties include preparing nutritious meals, following recipes, and ensuring sanitation standards per federal, state, local, and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Lead cook experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use; perform scheduled routine cleaning.
• Store, label and date food items; maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated/frozen products.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Assist Food Service Director in maintaining daily production records and required documentation.
