Bub City in Chicago is hiring Prep Cooks to join our kitchen team. You will prepare foods, garnishes and condiments for line service, following recipes and special requests.

Qualifications

• Prepare ingredients and items per recipes and requests.
• Work hours include weekends.
• Safely use knives and kitchen tools.
• Must read thermometer correctly.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow portioning controls and par levels.
• Maintain food safety and quality standards.
• Read a thermometer accurately.
• Communicate delays or issues to Coordinator.
• Follow allergy procedures and restrictions.
• Comply with safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Be a team player and follow Employee Handbook.
