Job summary

Kindred Restaurant in Davidson, NC is seeking detail-oriented prep cooks for our back-of-house team. This fast-paced role focuses on consistency, precision, and setting the kitchen up for a great service, with opportunities to advance within a growing local restaurant group.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, practicing proper knife skills, labeling and rotating stock, and supporting line cooks during service while maintaining food safety and cleanliness in a busy, high-volume

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Solid knife skills and working knowledge of food safety practices.
• Ability to follow recipes and execute consistently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
