Job summary

Rocking Horse Ranch Resort in Highland, NY is seeking an experienced Prep Cook for afternoon/evening shifts.

You will work in a high-volume kitchen serving up to 500 guests per meal, follow standard recipes, and uphold sanitation standards while joining a collaborative kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of prep/line experience.
• Maintain high sanitation standards.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends and major holidays.
• Be a strong team player and follow directions of the Executive Chef.
• Passion for cooking and pride in workmanship.
• Follow established standard recipes.
• Maintain a positive can-do attitude.
• Communicate effectively in English.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly

Rocking Horse Ranch Resort, an award winning family friendly resort located in Highland, NY, is seeking an experienced Prep Cook. We are hiring for afternoon/evening shifts. Weekend availability is required. The ideal candidate must:

• Be able to work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen, serving up to 500 guests per meal
• Have high sanitation standards
• Have a flexible work schedule including weekends and all major holidays
• Be a strong team player who works in conjunction and cohesively with others and under the direction of the Executive Chef
• Have a passion for cooking & strong sense of pride
• Ability to follow established standard recipes
• Exhibit a positive can do attitude at all times
• Communicate in English effectively
• Possess at least 2 years of prep/line experience
