Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Silver Spring, MD, is seeking a Prep Cook passionate about food and teamwork. You will contribute to Signature Dining Programs, performing à la minute cooking and crafting chef-inspired dishes with a dedicated team in state‑of‑the‑art kitchens.

Responsibilities include consistent food preparation, maintaining a clean kitchen, and assembling high-quality menu items to drive resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience and passion for food.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort with hot and cold kitchen environments.

Join our team as a Prep Cook if you’re passionate about food and teamwork, with culinary experience. You will contribute to our Signature Dining Programs, engaging in à la minute cooking and creating chef-inspired dishes, while working with a dedicated team in state-of-the-art kitchens and using top-notch equipment.

• Compensation: $18.00 - $19.50 hourly

What you will need

• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers
