Job Overview

Silver Creek Valley Country Club is seeking a Prep Cook who thrives in a hospitality environment and is dedicated to providing superior service.

Compensation

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  1. Learns and maintains standards in food production and quality.
  2. Expedites orders in a timely manner.
  3. Practices excellent operational sanitation.
  4. Executes scheduled banquet functions.
  5. Maintains professional relationships with colleagues.
  6. Helps reduce waste and loss.
  7. Communicates equipment repair needs with the chef.
  8. Participates in training efforts.
  9. Incorporates safe work practices.
  10. Attends staff meetings.
  11. Checks and dates all deliveries, reporting variances.
  12. Verifies cooler temperatures and cleanliness daily.
  13. Processes inventory requisitions and receives supplies.
  14. Prepares food according to production plans and recipes.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED, with 1-3 months related experience or equivalent.
Additional Qualifications
  • Ability to read and speak English.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Sanitation training.
