Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated is seeking a Prep Cook for our new Salt Lake City restaurant opening. You will prep and cook a variety of items in a fast-paced kitchen and ensure every plate meets quality standards.

Qualifications include 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience, strong communication, and the physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Availability on weekends and some holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Prep and cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment.
• Portion products and follow recipes.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards and work clean.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment.
• Be available to work weekends and some holidays.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operation.

What you’ll do:

• Must have 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience
