Job summary

Flower Child, part of Fox Restaurant Concepts, is hiring a Prep Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen. You will prep and cook meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other items, using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and related equipment. You should have at least 1 year in a high-volume restaurant and can work weekends.

You’ll need strong communication, stamina to stand, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds. We value detail, efficiency, and adherence to food safety standards.

• Must have 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prep and cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment.
• Portion product and follow recipes.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Work clean.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment.
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.

• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
