Bretton Woods Recreation Center is seeking a Prep Cook to support chefs in a busy club kitchen. You will prepare ingredients, assemble dishes, and help maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to health regulations.

The role involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working weekends or holidays as needed. The Prep Cook will participate in food preparation for salads, dressings, meats, and seafood, ensuring accurate portioning and safe storage.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits.
• Measure and assemble ingredients for recipes.
• Prepare simple dishes such as salads, appetizers, and dressings.
• Portion and wrap food for storage.
• Assist with the preparation of meats, seafood, and poultry.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
• Ensure proper storage and FIFO rotation of items.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the kitchen manager.

The 286-acre property includes 18 holes of golf, 14 tennis courts, 3 swimming pools, 2 soccer fields, 3 playgrounds and a full team building ropes course. Located on the Potomac River, the Center has numerous water activities as well.The prep cook plays a crucial role in the kitchen by preparing ingredients and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
