Harri in Kennett Square, PA, is seeking passionate culinary professionals for a Prep Cook role. Our Mediterranean-inspired menu features wood-fired pizza & pasta as we open in March 2025. The ideal candidate will support kitchen prep and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

We value eagerness to learn, strong communication, and adherence to health and safety guidelines. Second language skills are a plus. Compensation is competitive and reflects experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.

• Experience as Prep Cook preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen.

• Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties
• Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.
• Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
• Enjoys providing great hospitality

OurPrep Cooksassists in the preparation of delicious dishes inthe kitchen. The ideal Prep Cook will also be able to function in a fast-paced busy environment as a part of a team.

• Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties
• Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cuttingmeat etc.
• Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
• Enjoys providing great hospitality

Qualifications:

• Excellent Emotional Self Awareness under pressure while maintaining arespectful, warm presence
• Curious Intelligence to continue learning in the position
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Proven experience as Prep Cook
• Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
• Knowledge of a second language isa plus
