Job summary

Flower Child, part of Fox Restaurant Concepts, is seeking a Prep Cook for The Trailhead location in Peoria, AZ. The role supports a fast-paced kitchen focused on healthy, veggie-forward dishes. You will prep, cook, and portion items while following recipes and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a high-volume restaurant, can stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work well under pressure. Weekend and some holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of high-volume restaurant experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prep and cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items using kitchen equipment.
• Portion products and follow recipes.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards; work clean.
• Maintain calm, efficient performance in a high-volume environment.
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
• Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operation.

• Prep and cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment.

• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Work clean.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
