Job summary

Flower Child in Peoria is hiring a Prep Cook for our upcoming location at The Trailhead. You will prep and cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other items, following recipes and maintaining high food safety standards.

We value excellent communication, stamina, and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced setting. Weekend and some holiday shifts are required; competitive hourly pay and dining discounts are offered as part of Fox Restaurant Concepts family benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of high-volume restaurant experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
• Prep and cook items using kitchen equipment and follow recipes.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Portion product and follow recipes.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Work clean.
