Job Description for Prep Cook at SSP America

We are looking for an experienced Prep Cook with a positive attitude who prefers to keep busy, is able to use their own initiative, and works well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities as a Prep Cook at SSP America include:

1. Follow recipes, check portions, garnishes, and present dishes ordered.
2. Ensure correct and adequate setup in the kitchen/work station at each shift, including making orders, storing all fresh, dry, and frozen goods, condiments, and supplies.
3. Handle, store, and rotate stored products properly.
4. Prepare and assemble multiple portions of food items in batches.
5. Complete control sheets for opening, in-progress, and closing shifts if requested.
6. Clean and tidy up work areas and store utensils used during the shift properly.
7. Practice general and specific cleaning procedures using appropriate products to meet hygiene standards.
