SSP America is hiring a Prep Cook for the Commissary located inside the Indianapolis International Airport. We seek an experienced Prep Cook with a positive attitude who thrives in a busy, fast-paced setting and can take initiative.

Expect to follow recipes, manage prep, and maintain a clean, organized workstation. We offer union medical/dental/vision premiums, free parking, and immediate hiring to get you onto the fantastic SSP team.

Responsabilidades

• Follow recipes and ensure proper portioning and presentation of dishes.
• Set up kitchen/work station for each shift, including managing orders and storing goods.
• Handle, store and rotate inventory properly and prepare batches of items.
• Complete opening/closing control sheets as requested.
• Keep utensils clean and workspace tidy; follow hygiene standards.

We are currently hiring for Prep Cooks to work at the Commissary located inside the Indianapolis International Airport.

We are looking for an experienced Prep Cook with a positive attitude who prefers to keep busy, is able to use their own initiative, and works well in a fast-paced environment.

Here are a few things you can expect as a Prep Cook at SSP America:

• Followthe recipes, checks the portion of the recipes, the garnishes and present the dishes ordered.
• Have the correct and adequate set up in the kitchen / work station at each shift. This includes making orders, storing, storing all fresh, dry, frozen goods; condiments and supplies.
• Handle, store androtate the stored products properly.
• Preparation and assembly of multiple portions of food items in batches.
• Complete the control sheets for opening, in progress andclosing if requested.
• Put all the utensils used during the shift in its place, clean and tidy up work place as well as the storage areas.
• Practice general and specific cleaning using the appropriate products as indicated by the manager in order to meet hygiene standards.
