Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, is seeking a dependable Prep Cook to support our culinary team. You will help prep ingredients, maintain a clean kitchen, and assemble high quality menu items for residents, while adhering to safety standards.

The role offers $19.00–$22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, with benefits such as PTO, healthcare, and a 401(k) plan. Weekend availability required, with opportunities for growth within Erickson Senior Living.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food safety practices and knife skills
• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers

Responsibilities

• Assist in the consistent preparation all food items according to proper safety and cooking techniques
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and work station

Are you passionate about food, teamwork, and working in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen? We’re looking for a dependable and motivated Prep Cook to help bring our menu to life and keep our kitchen running smoothly.

As a Prep Cook, you’re the backbone of our culinary team. From chopping fresh ingredients to keeping everything organized and ready to go, your work sets the stage for an amazing dining experience for every guest.

Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 an hour, will commensurate with experience.
