Job summary

Erickson Senior Living in Fairfax, VA seeks a Prep Cook to contribute to Signature Dining Programs and assist in à la minute cooking with a dedicated team in state‑of‑the‑art kitchens. The role supports resident dining with chef‑inspired dishes and requires teamwork and reliability.

Starting pay is $18–$21 per hour, full‑time schedule from 12:00pm–8:30pm or 11:00am–7:30pm, with weekend availability requested. Eligible employees receive competitive benefits and a complimentary meal each shift.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the consistent preparation of all food items according to proper safety and cooking techniques.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and workstation.
• Use culinary talents to prepare and assemble high quality menu items that drive resident satisfaction.

Join our team as a Prep Cook if you’re passionate about food and teamwork, with culinary experience. You will contribute to our Signature Dining Programs, engaging in à la minute cooking and creating chef-inspired dishes, while working with a dedicated team in state-of-the-art kitchens and using top-notch equipment.

Compensation: Starting at $18 - Max at $21, Per hour. Based on experience, paid Bi-Weekly!

Schedule: Full-Time from 12:00pm - 8:30pm or 11:00am - 7:30pm | Saturday Availability Required
