Emmy Squared Pizza in Green Hills is hiring a Prep Cook to support the kitchen from dough production to daily prep. You will ensure ingredients are handled with care, maintain high standards, and help keep service running smoothly behind the scenes.

We seek candidates with at least 1 year of prep cook experience, capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting, and committed to food safety. Flexible weekends/holidays and physical stamina are needed for this role.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year experience as a prep cook in a full-service restaurant (previous dough experience strongly preferred).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
• Ability to produce high volumes of work while maintaining Emmy Squared quality standards.
• Strong attention to food safety and sanitation practices.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 35 lbs., push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Comfort using culinary tools and commercial kitchen equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare specific food items according to Emmy Squared recipes, ensuring consistency, quality, and accuracy.
• Portion and package dough for storage and future use.
• Set up and maintain assigned kitchen workstations.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines.
• Follow safe food handling procedures at all times.
• Store food properly and safely, labeling and dating all items.
• Use facility supplies and equipment responsibly to minimize waste and loss.
• Keep work areas neat and clean; maintain and clean equipment used in food preparation.
• Report necessary equipment repairs and maintenance to management.
• Support the back-of-house team with additional duties as assigned.
