Job summary

Flower Child in Fishers, IN is seeking a Prep Cook for part-time hours. You will prep and cook a variety of items while maintaining quality and speed in a busy kitchen. Must have 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience and strong communication skills.

You'll work in a team, follow recipes and safety standards, and be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Weekend availability is required, with benefits available after qualifying hours.

What you’ll do:

• Prep and cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment.
• Portion product and follow recipes.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Work clean.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
