Job summary

The Saint in The Design District is seeking a Prep Cook to join the team. The role focuses on fresh pasta, dry-aged steaks, and vegetarian/vegan options, with responsibilities including food preparation, measurement, quality control, and FIFO storage.

Ideal candidates will have a Food Handler Safety Card, ability to multitask, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Food Handler Safety Card.
• Must be able to multitask and complete prep lists in a timely manner.
• Must bend and lift to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage the quality of food items.
• Assist kitchen with all food preparation.
• Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
• Monitor and check daily food logs.
• Handle and store food products correctly, FIFO.
• Check in delivers correctly and check for spoilage.
• Assist with cleaning projects.
