Job summary

Ledgewood Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center in Beverly, MA is seeking a Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The role focuses on preparing meals according to planned menus and recipes, ensuring meals are tasty, visually appealing, and served with proper portion control.

The position runs Monday through Friday from 5:00am to 1:30pm. We offer competitive benefits and a welcoming team environment in a trusted senior care facility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cook.
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bake ware.
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of meals in accordance with planned menus and recipes.
• Preparation of meals that are tasty and appetizing in appearance.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control and safety standards.
• Maintain high levels of sanitation during and at the completion of all food production assignments.
• Supervise kitchen staff as directed by the Food Service Director.
