Job summary

AccessHealth is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Preoperative care to provide professional nursing services in an assigned unit. The RN will assess patients’ needs, develop individualized care plans, implement orders, and provide bedside care while ensuring safety and quality.

Requirements include a current RN license in the state of practice, strong teamwork and customer service, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety, and discharge needs.
• Develop individualized, patient-centered care plans based on assessments and patient input.
• Implement and coordinate nursing and medical orders appropriate to patient status.
• Provide direct bedside care, using the nursing process, ensuring safety and quality.
• Act as supervisor by delegating tasks, assessing progress, and participating in hourly rounding.
• Evaluate nursing practice for effectiveness and participate in shift leadership when needed.
