Tampa Bay Joint & Spine Surgery Center is hiring a Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse in the Tampa Bay area. This full-time role supports outpatient orthopedic and spine recovery with a focus on patient safety and excellent care.

Required: Florida Nursing License, CPR/ACLS/PALS, and at least 2 years hospital experience. Orthopedic/spine recovery experience is mandatory; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Tampa Bay Joint and Spine Surgery Center was formed by a group of local surgeons to offer easily accessible outpatient care to Clearwater and the surrounding communities.

The goal of any outpatient surgical visit is to provide the patient with a comfortable environment that focuses on their safety, supports the surgeon with the newest equipment, experienced staff, and results in a successful surgical outcome. Patients appreciate being able to recover in the comfort of their own home surrounded by family and friends.

Tampa Bay Joint & Spine is looking to hire a PreOp / PACU Registered Nurse on a Full Time status.

Required Skills:

• Current Florida Nursing License
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Orthopedic and spinal surgery recovery experience REQUIRED
• Minimum 2 year experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative.
