Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a motivated PreOP PACU Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Center of Delray in Delray Beach, FL. The role provides quality perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced ASC setting, supporting a range of specialties and collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a Florida-licensed RN with 1–3 years in PreOP/PACU, BLS/ALS/PALS, and a strong knowledge of aseptic technique.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted Florida license.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–3 years' experience in PreOP/PACU.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS certifications.
• Solid knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.
• Must communicate effectively with staff, patients and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe perioperative nursing care from pre-op to PACU.
• Support multiple specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Urology.
• Provide patient-family centered care and coordinate with the perioperative team.

The Outpatient Center of Delray,is seeking a motivated PreOP PACU Registered Nurse to join our team.The Outpatient Center of DelraySurgery Center is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience forpatients and their families.

Job Summary

The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN Pre-op/PACU reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

Experienced in supporting in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.

Required Skills:

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in theFlorida
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
