Westgate Surgery Center is seeking a qualified PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care for patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation. The RN will assess and monitor patients, ensure safety, and support the care team throughout preop and PACU phases.
The role requires an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and preferred PACU or critical care experience. A collaborative team environment and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.
The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge
