Qualifications

• Program Graduate, Diploma Nurse Program (Required).
• 2 years Acute Care Nursing experience (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Perioperative/PACU/ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preoperative nursing assessments via telephone, virtual, or in person.
• Escalate abnormal findings to clinical leadership or anesthesia providers.
• Review medical history, medications, allergies, and anesthesia history to identify risks.
• Coordinate preoperative testing, clearances, and follow-up evaluations.
• Educate patients on preoperative instructions and day-of-surgery expectations.
• Document accurately in the EMR and support perioperative workflow improvements.
