Job summary

Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for pre/post day surgery. The RN assesses and plans care, implements treatments, and evaluates outcomes while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs and develop a care plan.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for care coordination and transitions of care.
• Provide and supervise nursing care per standards of practice and RHS goals.
• Delegate tasks to non-professional staff and supervise them as needed.
• Document accurately per RHS and regulatory requirements
