Job summary

Surgery Center at Saint Francis in Memphis, TN is seeking a Preoperative RN to join a patient-focused team. This role requires reporting by 5:30 AM, with no weekends, no call, and no holidays. You will assess patients preoperatively, educate families, monitor vitals, review histories, and maintain meticulous documentation to ensure safe surgical experiences.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Tennessee.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent preoperative, PreOp or PACU experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients before surgery to ensure readiness.
• Educate patients and families about the surgical process.
• Monitor vitals and review medical histories in collaboration with the surgical team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient care.
