Physicians Regional Medical Center - Pine Ridge in Naples, FL is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse in the Preop unit. The role supports evening operations in lead/charge capacity based on experience, with duties including PACU responsibilities and post-anesthesia care.

The unit focus is preoperative patient care and safety. The RN provides patient-centered care, administers meds, documents care, and collaborates with the care team to implement individualized plans.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure required.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings, reporting changes to the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Collaborates with physicians and nurses to develop care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Documents care and education thoroughly in the medical record.
• Engages in professional development to maintain clinical competency.
