Job summary

Atrium Health Denver Surgery Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for pre-surgery holding in Denver, NC. No weekends, no call, and no holidays required, with 36 hours per week and flexibility for weeks without full surgery cases.

Responsibilities include verifying patient readiness for surgery, IV starts, and communicating with surgeons, anesthesia, staff, and patients to ease anxieties and ensure all requirements are met for procedures.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
• ACLS preferred
• PALS preferred

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
