Job summary

OhioHealth seeks a Staff RN to support Pre-Op at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. This casual role requires 2 years of RN experience in an acute hospital and a two-week orientation, regardless of prior experience. The RN provides general nursing care and collaborates with the care team in a 24/7/365 setting.

The position requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS certification, and a BSN within five years of employment. Day shifts, with As Needed hours, support the Surgery Pre-Op department.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio or multi-state compact.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.
• Two years RN experience in an acute hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Document planned interventions based on diagnoses and patient needs.
• Lead and participate in process improvements to support quality and safety.
