Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Research Intern in the Section for Health Equity at NYU School of Medicine, Department of Population Health. The intern will work with the New York City Cancer Outreach Network in Neighborhoods for Equity and Community Translation (CONNECT) project, a CDC‑funded, community‑engaged program that aims to reduce breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screening disparities in four NYC neighborhoods (Brooklyn: Sunset Park and East Flatbush; Bronx: Morrisania and Highbridge). The role involves interacting with a multidisciplinary team of partners from NYU, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, the Food Bank for NYC, and community‑based organizations to conduct the randomized controlled trial component of NYC CONNECT.

Salary range for the role is $15.00 - $18.00 hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
