This includes direct patient assessment, intervention, and evaluation. Furthermore, you will effectively direct and coordinate the activities of other healthcare team members to achieve this paramount goal, functioning as a leader in patient-centered care.

This role demands exceptional clinical expertise in perioperative nursing, sharp critical thinking, and the skill to manage complex patient care in a dynamic environment. Achieving superior patient safety and positive surgical outcomes will hinge on your leadership in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and unwavering commitment.

• Skilled performance in extreme life threatening emergencies.
• Prioritizing, coordinating, and meeting multiple patient needs and requests in a timely manner.
• Anticipating and preventing periods of extreme workload within a shift as evidenced by good time management and organizational skills.
• Detection and documentation of significant changes in a patient’s condition.
• Assist patients to understand their illness and the effects of lifestyle including diet, activity, smoking and weight loss.
• Assess and evaluate a patient’s readiness to learn, and consider factors affecting a patient’s learning ability and knowledge level.
