USPI Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Center North Freeway is seeking a motivated PreOP PACU RN to join our team. North Freeway Endo is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to providing the highest quality care and experience for patients and their families.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings may be required.

Job Summary:

The RN provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN ensures safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have at least 1-3 years of previous experience.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.
• Must have current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of surgical patients.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions.
