Job summary

AdventHealth in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking a Licensed RN for a part-time, day-shift role in a hospital setting. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients, coordinate with the care team, and maintain detailed records to improve patient outcomes.

Strong English skills and EKG knowledge are required; various RN licenses are preferred. Minimum education is an Associate's Degree in Nursing with a preferred Bachelor's, and 1+ acute care

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing required.
• Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.
• 1+ acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate multiple factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication.
• Supervise and delegate care provided by the healthcare team.
