Job summary

St. Thomas Surgery Center Clarksville is seeking a Registered Nurse in PreOP/PACU to deliver patient-centered care throughout the perioperative process.

The RN PACU will follow the medical plan of care and organizational policies, reporting to the Manager of Peri-operative Services. Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an unrestricted RN license in the state, and have 1–3 years of PACU/PreOP experience; ambulatory center experience is strongly preferred and current

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• At least 1–3 years' experience in PreOP/PACU; ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care using the nursing process and plan of care.
• Deliver safe, family-centered perioperative nursing in PACU/Pre-op.
• Report to the Manager of Peri-operative Services and adhere to policies.
