Job summary

Synergy Surgery Center of San Diego, a brand new outpatient surgery center in Mission Valley specializing in Orthopedics, is hiring a PreOp/PACU RN for full-time work in a 5-OR facility.

The RN provides continuity and quality nursing care for patients emerging from general anesthesia, assists physicians with procedures as needed, and plans discharge with safety and patient comfort as priorities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients in PreOp/PACU.
• Assist physicians in the procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile technique as needed.
• Provide comprehensive care from emergence from anesthesia to discharge planning.
