We are seeking a motivated Preop/PACU RN to join our team. Baylor Surgicare at Carrollton operates in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical center environment, committed to delivering high-quality care and excellent patient experiences.

Responsibilities

The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuous, high-quality nursing care to patients, continually evaluating their condition, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy. The role involves providing comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Active RN license in Texas
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS certification as required by the center
• Decision-making ability based on nursing judgment
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
