Welcome to Baylor Surgicare at Carrollton, which is seeking a motivated Preop/PACU RN to join our team. Baylor Surgicare at Carrollton is a fast-paced ambulatory surgical center environment committed to providing the highest quality care and experience for patients and their families.

Position: Preop/PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN)

The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuous, quality nursing care for all patients, with ongoing assessment of the patient's condition, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. The role may include assisting physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile techniques as appropriate. The nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for discharge readiness.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS certification if required by the center
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
