Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Florida seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for perioperative care (Pre-OP/PACU). Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, preparing care plans, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care across age groups.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, plus 2 years of RN experience with a specialty background.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license is required.
• CPAN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred for the role.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience, with specialty background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient readiness and prepare pre-/post-operative plan.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and document responses to therapy.
• Administer medications per physician orders with safety and accuracy.
• Educate patients and families, and plan discharge and care needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Respond to emergencies and uphold patient safety and comfort.
