Job summary

Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View is seeking a full-time PreOp PACU Registered Nurse to support a busy multispecialty surgery center serving Northern Suffolk. The RN will work to maintain safety, quality, and patient satisfaction while collaborating with physicians and center staff.

Qualifications include BSN preferred, RN license, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and 2 years ambulatory experience preferred. Excellent English communication and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a professional school of Nursing – BSN preferred
• Licensure: Current license as a VA Registered Nurse
• Certifications: BLS required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days
• Experience: 2 years’ ambulatory experience preferred
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible for all departmental functions in support of USPI’s mission, vision, and facility goals.
• Establishes effective working relationships with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.
• Works with Senior Management in meeting facility safety, quality, customer service, and financial goals.
• Maintain standards of nursing care within the Center in compliance with professional nursing standards and perioperative procedures
• Provide leadership and support in developing and maintaining effective relationships with the center staff and the medical staff

Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View is seeking a Full-time PreOp PACU Registered Nurse.
