Job summary

USPI Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Center North Freeway is seeking a motivated PreOP PACU RN to join our team. The role requires weekdays only with no holidays, weekends, or call; some later evenings may be required.

The RN will deliver perioperative care in a fast-paced ASC setting and coordinate patient families through the surgical journey. The ideal candidate is an experienced RN with an unrestricted state license, 1–3 years in ambulatory surgery, and current BLS/ALS/PALS certification,

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
