Job summary

USPI Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Center North Freeway is seeking a motivated PreOP PACU RN to join our team. The RN provides quality perioperative care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center, adhering to the nursing process and hospital policies.

Position requires weekdays only with no holidays, weekends, or calls; some later evenings required. RN license, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and 1–3 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have at least 1–3 years' previous experience.
• Previous ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS are required.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.

• Provide quality perioperative nursing care using the nursing process and plan of care.
• Deliver safe, effective, patient-family centered care in the perioperative setting.

Qualifications
