Physicians Surgery Center of Chattanooga seeks a PRN PreOp PACU RN to provide continuous, high-quality nursing care for patients before and after surgery. You will monitor patient status, ensure safety and comfort, and assist physicians with perioperative procedures, including conscious sedation and sterile technique.
The role requires an accredited RN program, active RN license in the state, BLS/ACLS (PALS if required), and 2 years in PACU/CCU preferred.

Our modern facility includes 4 operating rooms and 2 treatment rooms, supporting specialties such as GYN, ophthalmology, orthopedics, ENT, and retina. As a physician-owned center, we foster strong clinical collaboration to ensure exceptional surgical outcomes.
The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge
