Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is seeking a Full-Time PreOp PACU RN for our Tennessee surgery center. The RN will provide continuous, high-quality care for patients emerging from anesthesia and assist in recovery, with attention to safety, comfort, and privacy.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 2 years of PACU/CCU experience; strong nursing judgment, prioritization, and communication are essential for efficient workflow and patient readiness for

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care with continual evaluation of patient condition.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation.
• Provide comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia; assess, plan, implement and evaluate discharge readiness.

We are seeking an experienced RN with PreOp, Pre Admissions or experience caring for post anesthesia patients to join our dynamic team. If you are a skilled and compassionate RN who is committed to providing high-quality patient care,

The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Qualifications
