Responsibilities include preoperative care, intraoperative assistance, postoperative recovery, and maintaining CMS-compliant logs, while ensuring anesthesia supplies and instrument sterilization are ready.

Qualifications

• RN license in Arizona required.
• ACLS/BLS certification required or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 1 year ASC/OR/ER experience.
• EMR experience (preferably eCW).
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care, including preoperative preparation, intraoperative assistance, and postoperative recovery.
• Assist in maintaining ACLS, Life Safety, and Infection Control logs per CMS standards.
• Ensure anesthesia providers have necessary supplies for anesthesia services.
• Maintain, clean, and sterilize instruments as needed for surgical cases.
• Assist with room turnover to promote ASC efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with surgical staff, maintaining a professional demeanor in stressful situations.
• Participate in cost containment by using supplies economically and managing efficient turnover times.
