Job summary

Westgate Surgery Center is seeking an experienced PREOP/PACU Nurse Manager to join our team. You will provide leadership and oversight of daily clinical and nursing operations, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include leading staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, coordinating scheduling and education, and collaborating with physicians and anesthesia to optimize patient flow. A BSN is preferred and Arizona RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona RN license required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• 2-3 years of clinical leadership or management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Current BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate nursing and clinical staff and daily patient care activities.
• Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, accreditation, and patient safety standards.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, staff education, competency, and performance.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams to promote efficient patient flow.
• Monitor quality, infection prevention, and patient safety initiatives.
• Support regulatory surveys, policy development, and quality improvement activities.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for staff.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and exceptional customer service.
