Job summary

Archdiocese of Los Angeles seeks a Preplanning Counselor for Calvary Mortuary in Los Angeles. The role blends preneed sales with client services, coordinating with parish priests and CCM management to deliver compassionate guidance to patron families.

You will develop leads, set appointments, and present at cemeteries or in client homes as needed, while maintaining records and ensuring compliance with diocesan policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Catholic faith membership preferred.
• At least 1 year sales related experience or preplanning sales preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales goals for preneed products at Archdiocesan cemeteries and mortuaries.
• Complete contracts and documents to process sales and customer service.
• Provide excellent patron service and assist families as needed.
• Develop leads through personal and parish outreach activities.
• Maintain CRM records and follow up on referrals and appointments.
